USA Rugby Release CHULA VISTA, CA. – USA Rugby has released the names of 24 athletes who will train full-time at the U.S. Olympic Training Site in Chula Vista, CA as part of the Senior Men’s Eagles Sevens Residency and junior Men’s Sevens Academy programs. Carolinas Rugby Union Release The Carolinas Geographical Rugby Union is proud to announce the players selected to represent the CGRU at the upcoming Las Vegas Invitational. The USA Men’s Falcons the Sudamerica Rugby Sevens tour with a fifth-place finish at the Punta del Este in Uruguay on Jan. 5-6 and a ninth-place finish at the Viña del Mar in Chile on Jan 12-13. At the Punta del Este Sevens the Falcons went 2-2-1 overall. They opened with a 38-0 shutout win over Paraguay, a 26-point draw with Germany, and then lost to Chile 5-27 in pool play. USA Rugby Release CHULA VISTA, CA. – 14 USA Men’s Falcons have been named for the annual Sudamérica Rugby Sevens 2019 taking place in South America this January. The full tournament will consist of two legs beginning with Punta Del Este in Uruguay Jan. 5-6 and followed by Viña del Mar in Chile Jan. 12-13. Along with the USA, the full tournament will consist of teams from 12 nations including Argentina, Canada, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, France, Germany, Ireland, Paraguay and Uruguay.
