The HSBC USA Women’s Sevens Series was held in Glendale, Colorado on October 5-6, 2019. The USA won back-to-back HSBC Women’s Series titles with a 26-7 win over Australia. In the Bronze Final, New Zealand defeated France 31-14 and in the 5th Place Final, Spain beat Canada 12-7. The USA Rugby Club 7s was played at Swope Village in Kansas City this past weekend. There were thirty two teams, sixteen each for the Men’s and Women’s brackets. The San Diego Surfers successfully defended their title in the Women’s competition, while Washington Athletic Club emerged with the Men’s Championship. The tournament was broadcast of florugby.com. The 2019 USA Rugby Club 7s Nationals will be held on August 10-11at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, MO. This past weekend the teams were finalized for Nationals. FloRugby will be broadcasting the event.
