The Utah Warriors signed Canadian scrumhalf Sam Reimer for the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 21-year-old halfback is 5’9″ and 185lbs.
Sam joins the team after playing for New Plymouth Old Boys in New Zealand. In 2022 he played for the Canadian Development Academy Pacific Pride, for the Canadian Under-20s, and 118 minutes in 5 matches for the Toronto Arrows.
Sam played for the Rugby Ontario Junior Blues, Ajax Wanderers, and the Oshawa Vikings. He represented the Rugby Canada U18s for Canada White against the USA Under-18s in a tour to California in 2019. The previous year, he played for the Canada Under-16s.
He attended Wilfred Laurier University and played for the rugby team.
