Ben Grant signed a one-year extension with the San Diego Legion for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. The 24-year-old lock is 6’9” and 260 lbs.
Ben played 13 matches, starting 12, during the 2022 season.
Ben was born in Townsville, Australia, and his family moved to Adelaide when he was 1-year old. Later he moved back to Queensland and played rugby at All Saints Anglican School.
His senior rugby career involved playing for the Perth Spirit in 2017 and Western Force National Rugby Championship Team in 2018-2019 and the Super Rugby AU competition in 2020, as well as the Global Rapid Rugby competition that same year. In the 2020-2021 season, he played for the Queensland Reds.
