RFC LA Signs Lincoln Sii

Rugby Football Club Los Angeles signed Lincoln Sii for the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 26-year-old tighthead/loosehead prop (27 in May) is 6’0″ and 275 lbs.
Lincoln played 156 minutes in 10 matches, starting once, for Rugby ATL in 2023.
Lincoln played 50 minutes in 4 matches for Rugby ATL in 2022. He then played with the USA Falcons who traveled to Montevideo, Uruguay for matches against development sides from Uruguay and Argentina.
Lincoln played 4 minutes in one match for the Ratlers in 2021 and also played with Pathway 404.
Lincoln is from Temecula, California, and attended Great Oak High School from 2012-2015. He played football as an offensive and defensive lineman and began playing rugby in 2015 for the Temecula Mountain Lions.
He attended Grand Canyon University from 2015 through his graduation in April 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He played rugby during his time at the university and his performance earned him an invitation to the AIG Men’s Junior All-American Evaluation Camp in December 2016. At GCU he started 27 of the 29 games he played and scored 7 tries.
During the MLR Collegiate Draft in June 2020, Lincoln was projected as a top draft pick, however, to the surprise of rugby pundits was not drafted. That provided him the opportunity to sign with any team and he signed with 404 Rugby ATL. Since joining the team, he has played in the first two inter-squad matches and is on the matchday roster against NOLA Gold Academy this weekend.
Lincoln quickly proved his worth to Rugby ATL and he is now signed for the 2021 MLR season.
