RFC LA Signs Austin White

Rugby Football Club Los Angeles signed Austin White for the 2024 season. The 30-year-old outside center/wing/fullback (31 in March) is 6’1″ and 210 lbs.

Austin played 460 minutes in 8 matches, starting 6, and scored 2 tries for Rugby ATL in 2023. He then played for Life Men, winning the American Rugby Premiership.

Austin played 948 minutes in 13 starts and scored 3 tries for the Ratlers in 2022. He was selected by the Chicago Hounds in the MLR expansion draft and after not signing, his rights reverted to ATL.

Austin played 429 minutes in 8 matches, starting 6, and scored 2 tries for the Ratlers in 2021. He also played for Life Men’s Rugby Club in the American Rugby Premiership. He started one match, playing 65 minutes for Rugby ATL as a left-wing in 2020, and during the Fall of 2020, he played for the Life Men’s Club Team.

Austin is from Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He attended Victory Christian School and then Bixby High School, graduating in 2011 and playing football, as well as for the Bixby Rugby Club.  He then attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College from 2013-2014, earning an Associate’s Degree in Physical Education. He continued playing football and earned All-Conference honors.

Austin played club rugby for Tulsa Rugby Football Club from 2015-2016. He then attended Life University from 2016-2019, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. The team won the 2018 D1A National Championship. In 2019 he was selected to the USA Falcons for the Sudamerica 7s tour, as well as the 2019 Las Vega Invitational.
