Rugby Football Club Los Angeles Obtains Jordan Chait

Rugby Football Club Los Angeles obtained Jordan Chait for the 2024 Major League Rugby season from the Seattle Seawolves in exchange for Ryan Rees. The 26-year-old flyhalf (27 in January) is 6’0″ and 200 lbs.

Jordan was the vice-captain for the Tel Aviv Heat. While with Seattle in 2022, he played 589 minutes in 8 matches, starting 7 and scoring 77 points (1 try, 14 penalty goals, and 15 conversions).

Jordan was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. He attended South African College High School where he played water polo and rugby. His performance during Western Province U18 Academy week in 2015, earned him a junior provincial contract with Western Province.

He attended Stellenbosch University from 2017 through 2019, earning a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Entrepreneurship. He played rugby and helped the team win the 2019 Varsity Cup.

Jordan also played rugby with the Tel Aviv Heat in the Rugby Europe Super Cup for the 2021/2022 season, losing in the Final. He also played with the Natal Sharks in the 2021 and 2022 Currie Cup Premier Division.
