Grant Feeley grew up in Glendale, Colorado, a few blocks from the pitches locals still call Rugbytown, and played flanker through college in the Rockies before a shoulder injury ended it. He spent his twenties in logistics management, filing club match recaps on the side, and went full-time on rugby in 2014. Grant has followed Major League Rugby since its first season and covers the USA Eagles home and away; he still coaches a youth side in Denver on weekends. He rates the New England Free Jacks' recruitment and argues the league's broadcast deal is undervalued.
