Old Glory DC Khalid Williams 2020 Profile
By Grant FeeleyOld Glory DC signed Khalid ‘Wale’ Williams for the 2020 season. The 26-year-old prop is 6’1″ and 250 lbs.
Khalid is from Newark, New Jersey and attended West Mecklenburg High School where he played rugby, football, and track. He attended Notre Dame College from 2013-2018 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. At the College, he was a 2017 D1A Rugby East All-Conference Second Team selection. He also was a part-time coach for the Women’s Rugby team.
Khalid played rugby sevens for Charlotte and the Cleveland Rugby Academy. He was signed to Old Glory DC for the 2019 exhibition season after participating in the Columbus Combine.
