Rugby ATL Signs Harley Davidson

Rugby ATL signed Harley Davidson for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. The 26-year-old wing is 5’9″ and 185lbs and will be 27 in early March.

Harley is from Tampa, Florida but grew up in Boise, Idaho. He spent the first two MLR season with the Colorado Raptors. During 2019, he played 1210 minutes in all 16 matches, scoring 8 tries. He made 12 linebreaks, 16 tackle breaks, 8 offloads, kicked twice for 41 meters and made 115 tackles.

Harley attended Capital High School and played football, wrestled, and then played rugby with the Snake River Rugby Club from 2011-2013.

He attended Life University from 2013-2017, graduating with a B.S. in Exercise Science. He played in four Collegiate Rugby Championships and was the team XVs captain in 2017. He was a two-time first-team Collegiate All-American in XVs and a second-team selection in 7s.

Following his graduation at Life, it was on to Colorado to play with the Glendale Merlins and Raptors. He started at wing for the Raptors during the 2018 MLR season and was named Player of the Week against the Houston SaberCats. Harley is an elusive runner who knows how to finish scoring tries. During 2019 he continued to be one of the leading scorers for the team.

Rugby ATL will have a player who is a proven try scorer in 2020.
