Colorado Raptors Adds Seth Halliman

The Colorado Raptors signed Seth Halliman for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. The 24-year-old fullback/wing is 6’2″ and 200lbs.

Seth is from Fort Wayne, Indiana and moved with his family to Colorado Springs, Colorado. He attended Pine Creek High School and after graduating went to American International College in 2014-2015 before transferring to Central Washington University in 2015.

For AIC, the team advanced to the ACRC 7s final, losing to Kutztown. With Central Washington, the team played in the Varsity Cup competition and D1A Rugby competitions.

In 2013 Seth represented the Colorado Grizzles in the High School All-American Stars and Stripes game. He played for the AIG Men’s Junior All-Americans in 2014 in the World Rugby Trophy and in the Junior World Rugby Trophy qualifier against Canada in 2015.

In 2015 he played in the Halloween 7s and toured with the USA Falcons to South America in 2016. He also played in the HSBC Sevens Series at the Canada Sevens in 2016.

In 2017-2018 Seth played club rugby with the Glendale Merlins and was the Raptors Player of the Match against the Utah Selects in 2017. During the inaugural MLR season, Seth played in all eight matches for the Raptors, playing 596 minutes and scoring one try.

Seth returns to the Raptors in 2020 and his speed and elusiveness from the back three should be an asset for the team.
