Old Glory DC Re-Signs Michael Reid

Old Glory DC signed Michael Reid for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. The 5’9″, 185 lb. scrumhalf will be 24-years-old in mid-September. He played with the team during the 2019 exhibition season and with Austin Elite Rugby in 2018. In 2017 he helped the Austin Huns gain the USA Rugby Club Division1 National Championship.

Michael is from Durban, South Africa and began playing rugby at the age of 5 in Durban at Crusaders Rugby Club and then played with the Pirates in Johannesburg. After moving to Virginia, he played for the Warrenton Wolfpack, was a high-school All American for four years, and on the 2014 Junior World Cup Trophy team. He also played for the Taranaki U18, U19, the USA under-20s, San Francisco Rush PRO league, and the Austin Huns championship 15’s.
