San Diego Legion Signs Tira Patterson
By Grant FeeleySan Diego Legion signed Fijian Tira Patterson for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. The 21-year-old wing is 6’3″ and 218 lbs.
Tira comes to the Legion after playing for Swire Shipping Fijian Warriors. He played in the 2019 Pacific Challenge and in 2018 in the World Rugby Under-20s Trophy competition. He was also part of Fiji’s extended team for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
Tira is a try scorer, whose blend of speed and power will be an asset for the Legion in 2020.
