Rugby ATL Signs Maciu Koroi

Rugby ATL signed Maciu Koroi for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. The 24-year-old No.8 is from Suva, Fiji.

Maciubegan playing rugby when he was eight years old and attended Queen Victoria School in Fiji. He moved to Sacramento, California and attended Sacramento City College from 2014-2015. He then enrolled at Life University in Business Administration and was part of two National Championship teams in 2016 and in 2018.

Maciu played with the USA Men’s Under-20s XVs National Team and the 1st team Collegiate All-American team in 2018. He also appeared with the Falcons on several occasions. In 2019 he traveled with the Falcons to South America and won the Las Vegas Invitational. He also is a member of the USA Sevens player pool.
