I would like to thank everyone who came out to celebrate all that is great about Monmouth Rugby on Monmouth Day 2016. The Monmouth Men and Women scored big wins over Jersey Shore and Brooklyn while the Maulers and CBA showcased the growing High School programs. Congratulations to the newest inductees to the Hall of Fame, Doug Coil and Jim Louro. A huge thank you goes out to Jen “Jersey” Jones for leading the planning and preparations along with the countless men and women who contributed to setup, cooking, shopping, and cleanup.

Big things are still ahead for Monmouth Rugby with the 4th Annual Showdown at the Shore 7s Tournament on June 18th and later in the summer we will recognizes the outstanding achievements of our youth programs and kick off the Rio Olympics 7s on August 6th.

Its great to see all of our alumni back for Monmouth Day and we hope to continue to engage throughout the year. Support the playing sides with a social membership (http://monmouthrugbyclub.com/dues/) and help support the Wilde Rover’s 2016 Fundraising Campaign (http://monmouthrugbyclub.com/fundraising-campaign/) Just as importantly, we hope to see you on the sidelines cheering on our Men, Women, and Youth athletes. Look for fall schedules soon and follow us on facebook.com/monmouthrugby

Cheers,
Nick Lynch
