The Dallas Jackals signed Argentinian Tomás Bekerman for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. The 20-year-old hooker (21 in March) is 5’11” and 230 lbs. Tomás is attending the University of Mendoza and played club rugby with Marista Rugby Club from 2006 through 2021. The team has spent two years planning for its entry and seeks to enhance the rugby experience in the Midwest by providing a pathway for rugby development, working with the community, and being a competitive team in the MLR Western Conference.
