LA Giltinis signed Fred Apulu for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The 25-year-old prop is 6’4”. and 270 lbs.
Fred is from Fasitoouta, Samoa, and attended Nu’uausala College (NASCO). He later moved to Hawaii to be with his girlfriend Maria, who is his wife and has worked there since then.
In 2015/2016 he played for Samoa U20s in the IRB Junior World Trophy, making two appearances.
Fred play club rugby with Marist Hawaii and in 2021 attended the 9 week USA U23 High-Performance Pathway Camp in Glendale, Colorado.
