NOLA Gold Adds Konor Coan

NOLA Gold has added Konor Coan for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. The 21-year-old prop is 6’0” and 249 lb.

Konor was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in New Zealand since he was 2 years old. He has dual citizenship.

Konor attended Paraparaumu College and played rugby for the first XV. He played for the USA U18s and for the Hurricanes U18s. He attended the University of Otago since 2017 and helped the team advance to the Metropolitan Premier 2 semifinals. In 2018 he took time off to concentrate on pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology and returned to the rugby premier A and B sides in 2019.

Quality props are in demand and he should add depth for NOLA Gold in 2020.
