Utah Warriors Signs Sione Tau'ataina

The Utah Warriors signed Sione Tau’ataina to its training squad for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. The 21-year-old wing is 5’11” and 230 lbs.

Sione if from West Valley City, Utah and attended Granger High School. He played football as a running back and an outside linebacker. He also played rugby with the West Valley Warriors and the Utah Cannibals.

After graduating from high school, he played rugby at Utah Valley University and then at Dixie State University. He also played club rugby with Utah Brothers and with the Park City Haggis.
