NOLA Gold Adds Bryan Ptomey

NOLA Gold Rugby Club opened its 2020 Major League Exhibition season away against Rugby ATL on January 12, 2020. Bryan Ptomey or Pumba, his nickname, played fullback during the third period as a trialist and scored a try and had two conversions. This earned him a MLR contract for 2020. The 24-year-old is 5’11” and 185 lbs. Byran played with the New England Free Jacks during the 2019 exhibition season.

Bryan is from Euless, Texas and attended Euless Trinity High School. He played safety in football and graduated in 2013. He played rugby with the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Hurricanes, the Euless Texans in the USA Club Division 3 National Finals, the Dallas Harlequins and for Metropolis in the Club Sevens Nationals.
