Rugby ATL signed Johan Momsen for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. The 24-year-old lock is 6’5″ and 250 lbs.
Johan is from Paarl, Western Cape, South Africa and attended Paarl Gimnasium. He then attended Stellenbosch University from 2015-2019 and captained the Maties in the 2019 Varsity Cup.
Johan played with the DHL Western Province U19s in 2014 and in 2019 played with the Griquas in the Currie Cup and in the Rugby Challenge. He made his debut on July 19th against the Sharks.
