NOLA Gold Signs Julian Dominguez Widmer

NOLA Gold Rugby Club signed Argentinan Julián Domínguez Widmer through the 2022 Major League Rugby season with an option to join the Jaguares should they come call according to the Americas Rugby News. The 23-year-old wing is 6’2″ and 210 lbs.

Julian was born in Buenos Aires aplayed club rugby for Pucara URBA. He played two consecutive years for Argentina U20s at the IRB Junior World Championship in 2015 and 2016. He also began playing for Argentina XV in the Americas Pacific Challenge beginning in 2016 and has played in for the team recently in 2019 at the Americas Rugby Championship and Nations Cup.

Julian also played with the Argentina Sevens during the 2017-2018 HSBC World Sevens Series. Julian joins NOLA Gold after playing with the Jaguares XV in the Currie Cup First Division.
