Utah Warriors Signs Caleb Meyer

The Utah Warriors signed Caleb Meyer for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. The 29-year-old flanker/lock is 6’3″ and 225 lbs.

Caleb joined NOLA Gold during the 2019 MLR season and played 21 minutes in 2 matches. He had 1 carry for 21 meters and made 7 tackles. He also played in a preseason match on December 5 against USA Rugby South. He also played for New Orleans Rugby Club.

Caleb is from Lake Mills, Wisconsin and went to the University of Utah after his commitment to the U.S. Marines ended.

Caleb attended the University of Utah from 2015-2018 and played rugby while there. He was nationally recognized as a prop, but also played lock and flanker for the Utes. In 2015 he was a D1A West All-Conference Second Team selection. He attended the Rugby Utah Olympic Development Academy Combine in 2016 and was invited to train with the Academy.  In 2018 Caleb was selected to the PAC All-Conference Team and the Collegiate-All-Americans as a prop. He also played for the Rugby Utah 7s.
