Houston SaberCats Adds Tim Cadwallader

The Houston SaberCats signed Tim Cadwallader for the 2020 Major League rugby season. Tim will be 25-years-old later this month and plays hooker and prop. He is 6’0″ and 229 lbs.

Tim is from New Zealand and attended Lindisfarne College from 2008-2012. Following graduation, he attended Massey University in Palmerston North from 2013-2017, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports and Exercise, majoring in Business Management and Coaching.

He represented Manawatu in 2013 on the championship-winning U20 season. This led to his selection on the New Zealand U20s at the World Cup Championship. He played Manawatu Club Rugby for the College Old Boys and for the Manawatu Turbos since 2014, where he has been part of the Mitre 10 Cup side.

From 2014-2018, he was also a member of the Hurricanes Super Rugby Development side. In 2018 and in 2019 he also played for KRC Kowloon Rugby Union at the Hong Kong Tens.
