The Toronto Arrows re-signed Riley Di Nardo for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. The 24-year-old scrumhalf is 5’6″, and 190 lbs.
During 2019, Riley played 182 minutes in 10 matches, made 23 tackles and kicked for 308 meters.
Riley is from Toronto and played age-grade rugby on the Rugby Ontario Junior Blues Under-14s, 15s, 16s, 17s, 18s, and 19s. In 2018 he played with the Ontario Blues.
Riley attended the University of Guelph from 2014-2018 majoring in Kinesiology, Fitness, and Health. He played rugby with the Gryphons, played in the 2018 Canadian University Rugby Championship and was selected to the OUA All-Stars.
Riley is also an accomplished rugby sevens player. He played for the Upright Rugby Academy at the Serevi Rugbytown 7s in 2015 and also played with the Maple Leaf Sevens since 2016. He went on the tour to South America in 2017 playing in the Punte del Este Sevens in Uruguay and the Vina del Mar Sevens in Chile. Later that year he played in the Rugbytown 7s. In 2018 he played in the Vancouver Sevens.
Riley played club rugby with the Toronto Scottish, Toronto Saracens, and the Castaway Wanderers. He accepted the challenge of playing professional rugby in 2018 with the Arrows and will continue with the team in 2019.
