NOLA Gold Signs Tabo Maree
NOLA Gold Rugby Club signed Tabo Maree for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. The soon to be 23-years-old back row is 6’1″ and 235 lbs.
Tabo is from Amersfoort, Mpumalanga, South Africa. and played both 1st XV and 2nd XV (Cherries) for Gray College in Bloemfontein.
From 2014-2018 he attended Arkansas State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. He helped the team gain a Varsity Cup Final in 2017. He was honored with the selection to the USA Rugby Men’s Collegiate All-American Second-Team. in 2018. He also played for the Collegiate All-American that year against the Glendale Raptors at Infinity Park.
When not playing rugby, Tabo enjoys returning to South Africa where he hunts.
