San Diego Legion Re-Signs Save Totovosau

San Diego Legion re-signed Fijian wing Savenaca Totovosau for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. During 2019, he played in ten matches for the Legion, including in the MLR Championship. He is 23-years-old, 6’2″, and 216 lbs.

Savenaca is from Lautoka, Fiji and attended Marist Brothers’ High School and Fiji National University where he studied information technology networking. While in high school, he earned a bronze medal in the shot put and played in 2019 for the Under-19s.

Savenaca is married with two daughters, so playing professionally provides the economic support for his family.

During 2018 he played with the Easts Tigers in Brisbane, Australia and helped the team to a top four finish. The team was part of Queensland Premier Rugby. He is described as a player who is fast, has the ability to break tackles and is a proven try scorer.

Savenaca signed with the San Diego Legion for 2019 and scored six tries in ten matches.
