New England Free Jacks Re-Signs Christian Adams

The New England Free Jacks re-signed Christian Adams for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. He played in all three of their 2018-2019 exhibition season matches against the Ontario Arrows, Rugby United New York, and the Utah Warriors, as well as in the Cara Cup. The 24-year-old wing is 5’11” and 223 lbs.

Christian attended Perry Stree Preparatory PCS and played rugby, football, and basketball. He was captain of the football team and was named MVP. In rugby, he was a High School All-American his senior year and played sevens at the Las Vegas Invitational and 15s for the team’s Argentina tour in 2013. He also was selected to the Potomac Rugby Union All-Star Team his Senior year.

He then attended American International College from 2013-2017 and graduated with a Degree in Criminal Justice. He was a three-time Collegiate All-American, earning his first one his Freshman year, the first in the school’s history. He was invited to two USA Under-20s camps, played in the 2014 Super 7s exhibition match against the Ontario Blues in the Collegiate Rugby Championship. AIC won the Las Vegas Invitational while he attended and secured a spot in the CRCs in 2016 and in 2017.

Christian also played for the Northeast Olympic Development Academy and club rugby for Mystic River Rugby Club. During Summer 2019, he has played for Mystic River and will be competing in the USA Club 7s Nationals in Kansas City on August 10-11.

While concentrating on rugby, Christian stays focused on his core mission of bettering the Boston community through his current job as a Social Worker with the Department of Children and Families.
