USA Rugby Women’s Club DI Playoffs

The USA Rugby Women’s Rugby DI play0ffs teams are now set and Eastern Regional matches are being held.

Eastern Regional

This weekend the Atlantic North first and second placed teams will be decided when Beantown faces Boston. The winner will face the second place Mid-Atlantic team, while the loser will face Chicago Northshore May 21st in the National Quarterfinals at Founders Field in Pittsburgh, PA.

This weekend the Mid-Atlantic playoffs also begin. In the semi-finals, Pittsburgh Angels meet Northern Virginia and Raleigh faces Philadelphia with the winners meeting on Sunday. The Mid-Atlantic Champions will meet the loser between Beantown and Boston, while the second place Mid-Atlantic team faces Chicago Northshore.

On May 22nd the Eastern Championship will have the winners of the Saturday matches play for the right to play in the National Championship June 4th at Infinity Park, Glendale, Colorado.

Western Regional

This weekend the Pacific South Champion will be decided as Belmont Shore meets Santa Monica. The winner will play the Seattle Saracens, the Pacific North representative on May 21st.

The Denver Black Ice, the Frontier representative, will face the Red River Champion in the other match at the Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, Arizona.

This weekend, the Red River will have their semi-final and final decided. The semi-finals matches have the Austin Valkyries against Oklahoma Roses and Houston Athletic against Little Rock Stormers. The winners play in the finals Sunday. The Winner will represent Red River in the D1 Elite 8 round on May 21st, while the second place team will advance to the Elite 8 DII playoffs against the Frontier champion.

The Division I playoffs conclude June 4 when Western and Eastern Region winners meet in the National Championship in Infinity Park, Glendale, Colorado.
