USA Rugby South Panthers Play Cayman Islands

The USA Rugby South Panthers play the Cayman Islands National team on Saturday June 4th. The match will kick off around 5:00pm ET after the conclusion of the Surfin 7s Tournament in Parkland, FL. Purple Moose Media is streaming the match –

On May 7th the USA Rugby South Panthers won against Bermuda 38-5. This is a qualifier year in the Rugby Americas North for the 2019 World Cup. As such, the USA Rugby South Panthers are involved with tune up matches with member nations.

The Cayman Islands are currently 1-0 in the North Pool of the Rugby Americas North Qualifiers. Mexico tops the bracket at 2-0. The Cayman Islands play Bermuda June 18 before their match against Mexico on July 2.

On July 23 the winners of the North and South Pools will meet to determine who will represent the region. The South Pool representative will be determined on June 18 when Trinidad and Tobago plays Guyana. Both are 2-0.
