Worcester Ladies Playoff Quest Continues Through Darlington Mowden Sharks

Worcester Ladies RFC
Worcester Ladies RFC had a break from fixtures this week due to England Academy/Dubai Sevens matches, but the Women’s Premiership matches resume this Sunday. Worcester Ladies travel to the Darlington Mowden Sharks and seek a bonus point win to in their quest for the playoffs. Two weeks of matches remain,the DMP Sharks this week and Bristol next week.
The Worcester Ladies are currently two points behind Lichfield Ladies and 7 points behind the Bristol Ladies. There are two playoff spots left, as both Richmond Women and the Saracens Women are playoff bound.
In an DJCoil Rugby article published several days ago, the Women’s Premiership playoff implications for Worcester, Lichfield and Bristol are discussed.
Worcester Ladies Director of Rugby, Donna Kennedy indicates that “with 2 league games left to play we are still in contention for the top 4 finish that we need to make the play offs. We made life hard for ourselves with some poor performances early on in the season leaving us currently sitting 5th in the table. We will therefore need wins with bonus points in both remaining fixtures which is a challenge our squad are more than capable of achieving.”
