Argentina will field their strongest side for the Rugby World Cup 2015 quarter-final against Ireland. They have made 10 changes from the Namibia match win. The starters have 496 caps, which is their second most experienced of the 2015 tournament. The team averages just over 27 years.

Martin Landajo will win his 50th cap.

Ireland’s Joe Schmidt has made three changes from the side that faced France, all all based on injury or suspension. Iain Henderson starts at lock in place of legendary Paul O’Connell. Jordi Murphy and Chris Henry also become starters.

The starting XV contains 684 test caps and has an average starting age of just under 29, the second youngest of this tournament.

Rory Best obtains his 11th RWC cap and becomes Ireland’s most capped RWC hooker. Jamie Heaslip captains Ireland for the 12th time.
