Wales v Fiji, Pool A, Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, Wales, Kickoff 16:45-11:45am ET

Wales met Fiji in 2014 in Wales winning a close match by 4 points.

Referee: John Lacey; Assistant Referee: Jerome Garces, Mathieu Raynal; TV Match Official: George Ayoub

Fiji make six changes to their starting XV against Wales, mainly due to injuries and suspensions. They will field their most experienced XV at a Rugby World Cup with 392 caps in the starting XV. Wing Timoci Nagusa, replaces the injured Waisea Nayacalevu.

Wales has three changes in the backs, two of them because of injuries. Wales replaced the injured Scott Williams and Hallam Amos with James Hook and Gareth Anscombe. Wales have had to replace six injured players, five from their original 31-man squad and one player who was a replacement,Eli Walker.

Tyler Morgan will make his Rugby World Cup debut at outside-centre.

By virtue of beating England, Wales is in a great position to advance to the quarterfinals. They currently are 2-0 in the Pool, but they can’t over look a dangerous and talented Fiji side as the Australia match nears.

Fiji had the scheduling misfortune to have played both England and Australia in successive matches. They find themselves entering the match at 0-2. Pride is at stake and they hope for glory against a team that has been ravaged by injuries and coming off an emotional high.
