The LA Giltinis re-signed Lindsey Stevens for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The 26-year-old hooker is 5’11” and 215 lbs.

Lindsey played 250 minutes in 6 matches, starting 2, and scored 2 tries for the Giltinis in 2021. His season ended prematurely with a knee injury.

Lindsey played 98 minutes in 3 matches, starting 1, for NOLA Gold during the 2020 MLR season. He played for Eastern Suburbs in the Shute Shield competition in Australia since the 2016/2017 season.

Lindsey is from Dripping Springs, Texas, and attended Dripping Springs High School. His mother is from Texas. He then moved to Australia and attended Waverly College. His stepbrother is Jake Turnbull who plays for Old Glory DC.

Skeeter played for Eastern Suburbs RFC in the Shute Shield competition since 2016, with a break to play with the Houston SaberCats in 2018, where he played 479 minutes, started 7 matches, and scored one try.

LA Giltinis Comments

For the determined Stevens, 26, the 2022 season will be the chance to fully show what he’s got after a major knee injury ruined 2021. “I’m happy the club has shown faith in me with this signing for another season and I’d definitely like to repay them on the field,” Stevens said.
