Toronto Arrows & Tom Van Horne

The Toronto Arrows signed Tom Van Horne for the 2019 Major League Rugby season. Tom is from Hespeler, Ontario, is 28-years-old, 6’5″, 255 pounds and plays lock.

Tom attended the Jacob Hespeler Secondary  School from 2004-2009 and then went to the University of Guelph from 2009-2014, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Commerce (B.Com) Degree in Human Resource Management and played rugby there.

Tom played club rugby for the Brantford Harlequins and has been with the team since 2011 and on the Executive Committee since 2013. He also captained the team.

Tom played with the then Ontario Arrows during their 2018 exhibition season, including the Fall.

Tom is a key contributor for the set pieces for the Arrows and will be a key contributor for the Toronto Arrows in the 2019 Major league Rugby season. He also is joined on the team by his twin brother Josh.
