Strikers Rugby Release
Strikers Rugby is pleased to announce the signing of Codi Jones, alumni of California State University Maritime Academy – Cal Maritime. More recently Codi has been playing prop in Australia in the prestigious Shute Shield competition for Randwick Rugby Club “The Galloping Greens”.
“I am thrilled to be joining this elite program with the coaching staff and training facilities to back it. I would like to thank Coach Fitzpatrick and everyone at the Strikers organization for this opportunity. I look forward to giving this team my very best.”
Coach Fitzpatrick said, “Codi is talented young American prop forward who I’m excited to be working with. He is a product of the USA Rugby age grade pipeline having been part of the USA Rugby HSAA & MJAA programs, who now has gained an invaluable overseas rugby experience with Randwick in the Shute Shield this summer to add to his resume. I am looking forward to helping him take the next steps in his development.”
