Kelsea will lead the Competitions Committee for the nearly 100 Small College teams across the country and manage the national playoffs and championship pathways for both the 15s and 7s seasons. In addition, Kelsea will manage NCR’s small college national rankings, recognition programs and club development initiatives. National Collegiate Rugby Release National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) announced the final teams that will compete for the Women’s Division I Club title at the Collegiate Rugby Championship in New Orleans. Division I Club National Finalists Grand Valley State and IUPUI automatically qualified for the tournament as champions of the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley conference tournaments, respectively. National Collegiate Rugby Release National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) announced the 12 teams participating in the 2022 Women’s Small College 7s National Championship in Pittsburgh, PA. The two-day tournament will take place on April 30 and May 1 at the Pittsburgh Harlequins Founder’s Field. The championship tournament kicks off on Saturday night at 4:00pm EST with two rounds of pool play. The top eight teams will advance to the quarterfinals on Sunday, with the remaining four teams competing in a consolation bracket. On Sunday, March 24 the USA Rugby Women’s D1 Elite SEmifinals will be held at John S. Roberts Rugby Pitch at Furman University. The first semifinal features last year’s champions, the Lindenwood Lions, against Central Washington University. The second semifinal features last year’s runner-up, Life University against Penn State. The winners from this weekend will advance to the D1 Elite National Championship on Sunday, April 7 at Stanford University’s Steuber Rugby Stadium.
