Major League Rugby is a professional USA league that will begin in 2018. Teams that will be part of the inaugural season include Austin Elite Rugby, Glendale Raptors, Houston SaberCats, New Orleans Gold, Seattle Seawolves, Utah Warriors, and San Diego.

Houston SaberCats & Connor Murphy The Houston SaberCats signed spark plug scrum half Connor Murphy for the 2019 Major League Rugby season. Connor was also an Academy Coach for the SaberCats. During the Summer off-season, Connor was able to return home to the United Kingdom, travel in Europe and to New York. Connor also maintains an excellent relationship with the London irish and was able to train at their facilities. Ontario Arrows – New England Free Jacks The Ontario Arrows will host the New England Free Jacks in conjunction with Sports & Entertainment Atlantic, in an exhibition match at the Halifax’s Wanderers Grounds on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018. NOLA Gold Rugby & Nick Feakes New Orleans Gold Rugby Club signed Lindenwood University and Collegiate All-American, Nick Feakes for the 2019 Major League Rugby season. The 23-year-old Feakes is from Canberra, Australia and is 6’2″ tall. Nick lived in the  Philippines and Laos, before returning to Australia. Feakes attended the Vientiane International School, Campbell High School and then Dickson College when he returned to Australia. Seattle Seawolves – Aladdin Schirmer The Seattle Seawolves re-signed 25 year old flanker Aladdin Schirmer for the 2019 Major League Rugby season. He is from Niudua, Naceva in Kadavu, Fiji and is 24 years old, 6’0″ tall, and weighs 202 pounds. Seattle Seawolves & Peter Tiberio The Seattle Seawolves signed Peter Tiberio, a 29-year-old wing, for the 2019 Major League Rugby season.  Tiberio was a key performer during the 2018 season in helping the team win the inaugural MLR Championship. A rugby bio for him has been updated from his original release last year. Prior to arriving with the Seawolves for their 2018 MLR season, Metcher had five injuries prior to age 26, which caused him to miss valuable time.
