In the Pacific South Final, Orange County Ravens won 58-22 over Northern Arizona Landsharks. NApa Valley will meet Orange County Ravens in the National quarterfinals on May 21st. May 9, 2016 USA Rugby Women’s Club DI Playoffs Updated Doug Coil The Pacific South Championship had Santa Monica beating Belmont Shore and advancing to the National Quarterfinals against the Seattle Saracens. In the other West quarterfinal, Denver Black Ice will play the Austin Valkyries. The Austin Valkyries earned a National D1 quarterfinal berth after winning the Red River Championship. They first won 90-22 against Oklahoma Roses, while Houston athletic beat Little Rock Stormers 33-5. In the Final, Austin Valkyries won 46-12 against the SHARCS. May 9, 2016 USA Women’s Rugby Club DII Playoffs Updated Doug Coil This past weekend the USA Rugby DII Playoff picture was finalized. In the Pacific North Final Life West won 112-0 against the Bend Lady Roughriders. In the Pacific South Final, Ventura County Lady Outlaws beat Tucson Lightning 28-18. Life West and Ventura County will now meet May 21st in the National Quarterfinals. May 8, 2016 PRO Rugby Ohio Claims Win Against a Tough Sacramento Team Doug Coil Ohio had the first attempt at points, but a Shaun Davies penalty kick was missed. Sacramento when given the opportunity was successful in two Mirco Bergamasco attempts giving Sacramento an early 6-0 lead. Ohio would answer back as Davies quick ball from a scrum resulted in a Mason Baum try. Davies slotted and Ohio took a 7-6 lead.
