Major League Rugby is a professional USA league that began in 2018 and has teams in the U.S. and in Canada. Current MLR teams include Austin Elite Rugby, Glendale Raptors, Houston SaberCats, New Orleans Gold, Rugby United New York, San Diego Legion, Seattle Seawolves, Toronto Arrows, and the Utah Warriors. In 2020, teams in Atlanta, New England, and Washington, D.C. will join the league and have exhibition matches in 2019.

New England Free Jacks signed Michael Armstrong for the 2018-2019 season. The 30-year-old wing is 5’11” and 200 lbs. Spike is from Nashua, New Hampshire and graduated from Nashua High School. He attended Plymouth State University and played rugby while there and since then has played with Mystic River Rugby Club. While with Mystic River the team has won two USA Club Rugby Division 1 Championships. He attended Stony Brook Unversity from 2012-2017, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Applied Mathematics. At Stony Brook, he played rugby and was the team’s captain. Peter is from Woburn, Massachusetts and attended St. John’s Preparatory School. He played football and also rugby there along with USA Men’s Eagles and Rugby United New York player, Nate Brakeley. The New England Free Jacks have added Timothée Guillimin to the team for 2019. The 23-year-old flyhalf is 5’10” and 185 lbs. Timothée played with Austin Elite Rugby from 2017- 2019. Timothée began playing rugby from the age of 6. He has played in the European Challenge Cup game with Agen, as well as the French National U18 and U16 teams.
