Men’s College Rugby has four levels, D1A, D1-AA, DII and NSCRO. Championships are held in each of these divisions in rugby 15s and in the later 3 divisions in sevens.

Collegiate Rugby Association of America Release Santa Barbara, CA – The College Rugby Association of America (CRAA) has committed to partnering with USA Rugby to help rebuild the National Governing Body (NGB) as it emerges from Chapter 11 bankruptcy. NCR Release National Collegiate Rugby is pleased to announce its 2020-21 membership fees and planned insurance offering. Starting on August 1, all NCR clubs, players, and coaches will register and pay directly through the NCRmembership platform. Membership fees include appropriate liability and accident insurance. In establishing the fee structure, NCR strives to set affordable levels for our players while ensuring the organization provides exceptional services, safe environments, and high-quality competitions. The MARC Conference was created in 2012 The Mid Atlantic Rugby Conference—operates as a regional Collegiate competitive organization in conjunction with USA Rugby. NSCRO Release NSCRO is proud to announce that Angela Smarto has been appointed as Commissioner of the new Women’s Open Division. Smarto recently completed her seventh season as head coach of the Robert Morris University Women’s Rugby Club. She is in her third year serving as the Allegheny Rugby Union Women’s Collegiate Coordinator, previously serving four years as the union’s secretary and webmaster. She founded the union’s women’s all-star program in 2017 which competes in various 15s and 7s events year-round including the NSCRO All-Star 7s Championship annually. NSCRO Release The six men’s collegiate division 2 rugby teams that make up the Tri-State Conference in the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut area have affiliated with the National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO). The teams are Marist College, William Paterson University, Monroe College, Seton Hall University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) Kings Point. NSCRO Release Following the commitment of ten D2 conferences, NSCRO is proud to announce a new Men’s Open Division that will introduce a new men’s D2 National Championship pathway starting in the Fall of 2020. The Great Waters Women’s Rugby Conference is proud to announce they are joining the NSCRO/NCRO organization. Post University Release In 2020, Crist Holveck became the first head coach in Post University men’s rugby history. The men’s rugby team will be the 24th varsity sport at Post University which is slated to start in the Fall of 2020. The Eagles will be a member of the New England Wide College Rugby Conference.
