Tyrrell’s Premier 15s:  Top tier of the women’s English rugby union domestic league system run by the Rugby Football Union (RFU). The league was created mainly from teams in the Women’s Premiership. Its first season began on 16 September 2017. Teams: Bristol Ladies, Darlington Mowden Park Sharks, Firwood Waterloo Ladies, Gloucester-Hartpury Women, Harlequins Ladies, Loughborough (Lightning), Richmond Women, Saracens Women, Wasps Ladies, Worcester Valkyries.

Tyrrells Premier 15s Fixtures The Tyrrells Premier 15s 2018-2019 fixtures were announced by the Rugby Football Union earlier today. There will be 18 rounds, beginning 8-9 September and culminating with playoffs and a title final on 27 April 2019. The venue for the Final will be announced in due course. The League will consist of 10 teams with each team having home and away fixtures. The teams remain the same as the first season since there is no promotion or relegation for the first three years of England’s top women’s domestic competition. Saracens Women: Alex Austerberry New Head Coach Saracens Women’s Rugby Release Saracens Women are delighted to announce Alex Austerberry will be joining the Tyrrells Premier 15s champions as Head Coach. The 34-year old will link-up with the club ahead of the new season, replacing Rob Cain who took up the position of USA Rugby Women’s head coach last month. Austerberry will leave his position as Performance Pathway Officer for the RFU, a role which saw him develop and nurture young talent through the Talent Development Group (TDG) and other programmes. Worcester Valkyries fell to a 48-12 defeat to Richmond Women in Round 4 of the Tyrrells Premier 15s at Richmond Athletic Ground. Winger Emelie Hellgren opened the scoring in the second minute for the hosts before full-back Katherine Wallis crossed after 15 minutes as Richmond built an early lead.
