RFC LA Signs Nick Hartley

Rugby Football Club Los Angeles signed Nicholas Harley for the 2024 Major League Rugby season and was the team’s Round 3 selection, #39, in the 2023 MLR Collegiate Draft. The 24-year-old scrumhalf/fullback (later this week) is 5’9″ and 175 lbs.

Nick is from Hamilton, Missouri, and attended Penney High School. He attended Missouri S&T University from 2017 through 2022, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Management. He began playing rugby in college and later was the team’s captain and the recruiting coordinator. He played four years of rugby at the university and was named to the Gateway Collegiate Conference All-Star Squad and named the Conference MVP. He was also a 2023 NCR Collegiate All-American.

Nick also has played rugby for the Austin Huns, Kansas City Blues, and Sunday Morning RFC.
