The Dallas Jackals signed Noah Wright, their third-round (#36) selection in the 2023 Collegiate Draft, for the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 22-year-old wing (23 in December) is 5’10” and 205 lbs.
Noah is from Jacksonville, North Carolina, and moved to Renton, Washington. He attended Liberty Senior High School from 2014- to 2018, where he played football as a free safety and a running back. He played youth rugby and has played rugby for about 16 years. He played for Eagle Impact Rugby Academy’s U16s in 2015 and the U19s in 2018.
Noah attended Central Washington University from 2018 through his graduation with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Broadcast Journalism. He was a 2022 D1A Collegiate All-American (3rd Team) selection and that year played for the USA Under-23s in Amsterdam, and for WAC Rugby 7s in the USA Rugby Clubs 7s Nationals.
In addition to playing rugby in Amsterdam with the USA U23s, he had the opportunity to tour New Zealand, Australia, and Dubai.
His two brothers also play rugby, and Noah joined his brother Ian playing for Seattle RFC in 2023.
