NOLA Gold Re-Signs Reece Botha

NOLA Gold re-signed Reece Botha for the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 23-year-old flyhalf, who has played inside center and fullback, is 6’3″ and 210 lbs.

Reece played in 6 matches and kicked for 1060 meters for NOLA Gold in 2023. During the Fall of 2023, as he did in 2022, he played for the Academy team in the American Rugby Premiership.

Reece is from Johannesburg, South Africa. He played rugby at King Edward School VII School, where he played rugby, as well as for the Golden Lions age grade U16s and then the U18s in Craven Week with the Golden Lions XV.

Reece received a rugby scholarship to attend Lindenwood University as a graduate student in 2019 and played D1A rugby in XVs and also played rugby sevens.
