The Dallas Jackals signed Lance Fiagatusa Ofoia Galletes Fenumiai for the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 23-year-old hooker, who has played flanker, is 5’7” and 265 lbs.
Lance is from Juneau, Alaska, and attended Juneau-Douglas High School where he was a three-sport athlete. He was a running back in high school and was exposed to rugby through playing touch.
He attended Saint Vincent College in Pennsylvania from 2018 through his graduation in 2022, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. He initially played football his freshman year before switching to rugby. In January 2022 he played in the National Collegiate Rugby All-Star Shield Challenge in Houston, Texas, and was an NCR Small College All-American. He also played for the Pittsburgh Harlequins.
