The Toronto Arrows re-signed Lolani Faleiva for the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 24-year-old loosehead prop (25 in February) is 6’4″ and 285lbs.
Lolani played 691 minutes in 11 matches, starting 10, and scored 2 tries for the Toronto Arrows in 2023. He played 368 minutes in 14 appearances, starting 3, carried 76 times for 595 meters, beat 19 defenders, made 10 offloads, and scored 4 tries for the Arrows in 2022.
Since joining the Toronto Arrows in 2022, he has carried 142 times for 1,219 meters, made 102 tackles, had 225 ruck arrivals, beat 35 defenders, had 16 offloads, seven linebreaks, six tries, and two breakdown steals.
Lolani is from Napier, New Zealand, and attended Napier Boys High School. He played rugby there and spent time with the Hurricanes as an under-17 development athlete. He played for the Netherlands club Bassets in the 2019 Dutch Ereklasse.
He played his club rugby with Hawke’s Bay club side Taradale and helped the Maroons to the prestigious Nash Cup-Maddison Trophy double in 2021.
Lolani joined the Arrows after playing with Hawkes Bay in the New Zealand National Provincial Championship and also played with the team in 2022.
