The Utah Warriors signed Alesana Pohla through the 2025 Major League Rugby season. The 25-year-old center/wing (26 in December) is 5’9″ and 195 lbs.
Alesana, who is from Australia, joins the team after playing for the Hunter Wildfires in the New South Wales Shute Shield. He previously played with Gordon Rugby Club. Alesana also trained with the Waratahs, after an impressive season with the Wildfires.
Alesana attended Narrara Valley High School and in 2017 played rugby for Samoa Under-20s in the World Rugby Under-20s Championship.
