NOLA Gold signed Olajuwon Noa for the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 33-year-old flanker (34 in December) is 6’4″ and 245 lbs.
Noa was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and resides in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He has played 5 times for Manu Samoa during 2021-2022.
He has played rugby professionally for Melbourne Rising in the NPC in 2014-2015, and the Canberra Vikings in 2016-2017. He then played in Spain in 2018-2019 for Silversorm El Salvador. In 2020-2021 he played for the Hunter Wildfires in the New South Wales Shute Shield.
He joined the Sharks for the United Rugby Championship in 2021 and also played for the Natal Sharks in the Currie CCup. In 2022-2023 he played in the French Top 14 and the European Rugby Challenge Cup for Aviron Bayonnais.
