John is from Lincoln, California. He played rugby at Del Oro High School and was named to the Sac Valley All-Stars.
John attended Central Washington University from 2017 through his graduation in 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering. He played rugby at the university and the 2022 Collegiate Rugby Shield.
